He started in Martial Arts training in early 1959-60, at Grand Master Peter Urban. He also studied with Sosai Mas Oyama Kyokushikai in Ozaka Japon, Shihan Jose A. Martines Kyokushikai Caguas Puerto Rico 1975-78, Shihan Michael Monaco in the arts of Kyokushikai in Rochester, New York, Master Kishi in martial art  Kyokushikai In 1984 he started its cross training in Shoshin Karate-Do 1987-1997 Shihan Jose Rivera,.  In the year 2001 Founded  the Taiku Ryu Karate of Puerto Rico, Presently President & Founder Taiku Ryu Karate-Do Association of Puerto Rico,Inc.
